Hurricanes Square Off with Penn

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The 32nd-ranked University of Miami men’s tennis team will try to remain unmarked this season in dual play Wednesday, hosting Pennsylvania at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center at 6 p.m.
Miami (8-0) returns to action against the Quakers (6-1) after a full week off of competition. In their last outing, the Hurricanes blanked in-state foe Central Florida, 7-0 March 3 at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
UM teammates Josh Cohen and Eric Hechtman will also try to remain undefeated in singles play Wednesday night. Cohen is a perfect 8-0 in dual play from the No. 1 position while Hechtman has yet to lose on the year standing at 8-0, splitting time at the No. 2 and 3 spots.
In doubles play, the Hurricanes’ tandem of Colin Purcell and Tim Krebs pace UM at the No. 1 spot with a 6-2 record in dual action.
Miami leads the all-time series with the Quakers with an overall record of 13-0.
