No. 22 Women's Tennis Hosts No. 68 FAU

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The No. 22 ranked University of Miami women’s tennis team opens the 2004 season hosting No. 68 Florida Atlantic University Saturday at Noon at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.

Miami leads the all-time series 19-0 over the Owls.

The Hurricanes return six letterwinners from last season’s 17-7 club which advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament.

Miami boasts three ranked players, including No. 11 Megan Bradley (Columbia, Mo.), No. 97 Melissa Applebaum (Coral Gables, Fla.) and No. 99 Staci Stevens (Hammond, La.).

The Hurricanes welcome two newcomers, Audrey Banada (North Miami Beach, Fla.) and Natalie Mikolich (Boca Raton, Fla.).
