Megan Bradley Advances At All-American

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-Miami junior Megan Bradley (Columbia, Mo.) advanced to the main draw of the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif. Wednesday afternoon.

No. 34 Bradley lost the first set 7-5 before fighting back to beat No. 91 Audra Falk of Vanderbilt 6-4, 6-2.

Bradley will face No. 3 Raquel Kops-Jones of California Thursday morning. The winner of the match will advance to the round of 16 in the main draw.

Sophomore Melissa Applebaum (Coral Gables, Fla.) fell in the back draw to Gitte Ostermann of Nebraska 6-2, 6-4.

No. 10 Applebaum and Bradley fell in the second round of the qualifying doubles bracket to Jessica Roland and Helga Vieira of Texas A&M 8-4.
