Men's Tennis All-American Results-Day One

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The University of Miami men’s tennis team completed singles play at the Icy Hot ITA All-American Championships in Chattanooga, Tenn. Friday afternoon.
Tim Krebs (Eschborn, Germany) and Josh Cohen (Weston, Fla.) both won first and second round play advancing to round three Saturday morning.
Krebs beat Marko Rajevac of Georgia Tech 6-2, 5-7, 7-5 in the round of 256 before beating Mithun Murali of Arkansas-Little Rock 7-6 (5), 6-4 in the second round.
Cohen won both matches in straight sets beating Marc Castellana of UL Lafayette 6-2, 6-0 before downing Marten Schultz of Virginia Tech 6-2, 6-2 in the second round.
Eric Hechtman (Miami, Fla.) beat Brandon Gill of Butler 6-1, 6-2 in the first round before falling to Tom Lloyd of Arizona 6-4, 6-1 in the second.
Krebs will face Gabriel Stangberg of Central Florida at 9 a.m. CT, while Cohen will face Greg Sossamon of Vanderbilt at 10 a.m. CT.
