Coral Gables, Fla (www.hurricanesports.com) — – The University of Miami football program will host a testing and timing day for all draft-eligible players to perform for scouts from the National Football League this Thursday, March 6, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Hecht Athletics Center. Scouts, player personnel representatives and head coaches from throughout the NFL will observe UM’s draft-eligible football players throughout the day.

Miami’s NFL Timing Day is closed to the general public.

While the UM Sports Information Office will not formally arrange interviews with players or NFL personnel, the news media is welcome to interview players or NFL personnel beginning at 2 p.m. at the patio entrance to the Greentree Practice Fields (located by the entrance to the UM locker room in the back of the Athletic Complex).

The football office has deemed all activities are closed to media, but media members will be allowed access to the grounds for interviews around 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon. News media wishing to attend the activities should check in with the Sports Information Office to be escorted to the interview area.
