Widom Sets Sights High

For Miami All-America tennis player Todd Widom, where he begins the season — No. 9 in the country — isn’t as important as where he would like to finish.

The sophomore was 26-6 last season. He was defeated in the semifinals of the NCAA Indoor Championships this fall. His ranking, based on what he has done, is 7-1 in singles and 3-3 in doubles this year.
