Tennis Wraps Up The UM Fall Classic

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The Miami men’s tennis team won four-of-five singles matches to conclude the UM Fall Classic Sunday afternoon at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
Tim Krebs (Eschborn, Germany) won his third match of the weekend as he beat Oscar Plotnik of Florida Atlantic 6-2, 6-2.
Eric Hechtman (Miami, Fla.) also won three matches this weekend. Hechtman beat Cristian Paiz of FAU in two hard fought sets winning 7-5, 7-5.
Andrew Golub (Miami, Fla.) and Colin Purcell (Louisville, Ky.) also won their matches. Golub downed Kevin Obletz in straight sets 6-2, 6-1.
Purcell beat Ernest Diaz 6-3, 6-4.
The Hurricanes are back in action Oct. 25-28 at the South Region Championships.
