Widom Falls At The All-American Tournament

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-Todd Widom (Coral Springs, Fla.) fell to Benedikt Dorsch of Baylor in the round of 32 in the main draw at the 2002 Icy Hot/ITA Men’s All-American Championships in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Widom, ranked No. 13 in the preseason polls fell in three sets to the sophomore from Germany. Dorsch won the first set 6-3 before Widom fought back to take the second set 7-6 (5). Widom battled in the third set but fell 7-5 to Dorsch.

Widom will head back to Coral Gables to take part in the UM Fall Classic this weekend.
