No. 28 Women's Tennis Cruises Past No. 46 Virginia, 6-1

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The No. 28-ranked Miami women’s tennis team remains undefeated at home this season with a, 6-1, victory over No. 46 Virginia Monday afternoon at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
The Hurricanes improve to 8-2 overall, while the Cavaliers fall to 6-2 on the dual match season.
Miami won the doubles point winning at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.
The Hurricanes went on to win five-of-six singles matches, including wins from No. 53 Mari Toro, No. 117 Marcy Hora, Staci Stevens, Sihem Bennacer and Sara Robbins.
Hora recorded an upset win over No. 51-ranked Jennifer Tuchband, 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 singles.
The Hurricanes return to action travelling to face No. 31 TCU Friday at 2 p.m. CST.
