No. 14 Men's Tennis Defeats No. 46 South Florida, 4-3

CORAL GABLES, Fla.–Senior Peter Hoffman clinched the 4-3 win for the No. 14 Miami men’s tennis team Saturday afternoon over No. 46 South Florida at the USF Tennis Complex.
The Hurricanes (14-2) are on a five-match winning streak and are a perfect 3-0 on the road this season. The Bulls fall to 11-4 on the season.
The match came down to No. 4 singles where Hoffman defeated Jorge Escallon in a tiebreaker (6-2, 5-7, 7-6), 8-6, to clinch the victory for UM.
Miami won the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.
Michael Lang handed Paco Antelo his first singles loss of the season with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 defeat at No. 1 singles.
Andrew Golub was the third Hurricane to earn a victory, he downed Eden Kleiman 7-5, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.
UM will host No. 10 Notre Dame Sunday April 1 at 12:30 p.m. at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
