“Again, we have another successful recruiting class, said Blankenship. We have players talented enough to come in and immediately compete for playing time. They are all impact players and we are looking forward to next season.”

The Hurricanes return all 11 starters from last year’s club, which finished with a record of 9-10-1 and fourth in the BIG EAST standings.

She was a three-year offensive MVP, named Broward county FSCA Seniors All-Star MVP and selected to the FACA state All-Star team her senior campaign.

“Andrea (Radice) will be a tremendous asset to our team. “She is very creative with the ball and can score goals.”

Radice was a two-year member of the state ODP team and a member of the regional pool.

Butcher is a midfielder from Bothell, Wash., and a three-year letterwinner for Bothell High School. She earned King-Co team honors all three years of her career and was a two-year member of the state ODP team.

“Britney (Butcher) is a midfielder who is a playmaker and is creative”

She earned the Lion Heart Award in 2000 after leading her team to the Elite 8 in the state tournament. Recognized in the Chicago Tribune as the Athlete of the Week.

She was a six-time member of the state ODP team and a member of the regional pool.

“Jenna (Johnson) is a very quick, fast, dynamic player who could play anywhere on the field. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this talented recruiting class.”
