No. 35 Women's Tennis Sweeps Santa Barbara, 7-0

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The No. 35-ranked University of Miami women’s tennis team swept Santa Barbara 7-0 Tuesday afternoon completing a three-match road swing in California.
The Hurricanes improve to 9-4 overall, while the Gauchos fall to 1-9 on the season.
Miami won two of the three games while in Calif., UM beat No. 32 UCLA 4-3 before falling 6-1 to No. 12 Southern California.
UM won the doubles point and went on to win all six singles matches shutting out an opponent for the fourth time this season.
UM is now 5-0 when playing an unranked opponent this season.
Miami returns home to face No. 63 Virginia Friday at 2 p.m. at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
