No. 20 Men's Tennis Hosts No. 19 Baylor

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The No. 20-ranked University of Miami men’s tennis team looks to get back on the winning path playing host to No. 19 Baylor Friday at 6 p.m. at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.

The Hurricanes enter the contest 9-2 overall, while the Bears are 6-2 on the season. Last season, then-No. 9 Baylor swept then-No. 18 Miami 4-0 in Waco, Texas.

Miami began the week with a 4-3 loss to No. 54 Georgia Tech on Wednesday. UM’s other loss of the season was to then-No. 5 Texas A&M.

Seniors Johan Lindqvist and Michael Lang, who hold singles records of 9-2 and 9-1 respectively, lead the Hurricanes.

The Bears have won six straight since losing on the road to No. 16 SMU and No. 17 Mississippi State in the first two matches of the season.
