No. 22 Men's Tennis Tops No. 68 Wake Forest, 4-2

CORAL GABLES, Fla.–The No. 22 ranked University of Miami men’s tennis team earned a 4-2 victory over visiting No. 68 Wake Forest Sunday afternoon at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
Miami improves to 6-0 overall, while Wake Forest falls to 4-1.
Miami earned the doubles point with wins from Peter Hoffman and Tomas Smid at No.1 and Andrew Golub and Johan Lindqvist at No. 3.
Miami earned a victory from Tomas Smid at No. 2 singles over David Bere, 6-2, 6-4.
The Demon Deacons tied the match at two-all when Trent Brendon topped UM’s Andrew Golub, 6-4, 6-4, at No.6 singles and David Loewenthal defeated Jose Lieberman at No. 5 singles.
Peter Hoffman and Johan Lindqvist iced the victory for Miami at No. 3 and No. 4 singles. Both Hoffman and Lindqvist lost the first set, but answered the pressure in style when they fought back to win the final two sets.
The Hurricanes return to action Saturday when they play host to FSU at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
