Men's Tennis Completes Day Two Of Tournament

ATHENS, GA–The No. 24 University of Miami men’s tennis team won one singles match versus No. 16 Texas and two doubles matches versus No. 31 Clemson Saturday afternoon at the On The Border Challenge in Athens, Ga.

Junior Jose Lieberman (Los Angeles, Ca.) defeated Will Clinton 6-4, 6-3.

Lieberman paired up with senior Mike Lang (Sarasota, Fla.) to defeat Brad Emendorfer and Joey Hopke, 8-4.Newcomer Andrew Golub (Miami, Fla.) and senior Johan Lindqvist (Kil, Sweden) defeated Marko Gojanovic and Lee Walker, 8-6.

The three-day tournament will continue Sunday morning as UM faces Mississippi State at 9 a.m.
