Hurricanes To Face Ohio State at NCAA's

Coral Gables, FL – The University of Miami women’s tennis team (12-11) will face Ohio State (17-7) in the opening round of the NCAA Tennis Championships in Athens, GA.

The Hurricanes are seeded third in the regional, which includes host Georgia (21-2) and Furman (16-7). The winner of the four-team regional will advance to the Sweet Sixteen, May 18-21, in Malibu, CA.

Miami, ranked 36th in the nation, earned an automatic berth to the NCAA Championships on the strength of its BIG EAST Championship victory over Notre Dame on April 23.
