Hurricanes Face Tulane

Coral Gables, FL – The 45th-ranked University of Miami women’s tennis team (9-9) will face 38th-ranked Tulane University (12-8) on Wednesday, April 12 starting at 11:30 a.m. at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center in Coral Gables. Admission is free.
Miami, which will be playing its final regular season home match of the season, is coming off of a 9-0 win over 49th-ranked Central Florida on April 7. With the win the Hurricanes snapped the Golden Knight’s 10-match win streak and improved Miami’s all-time record against teams from the state of Florida to 160-33 (.829).
The Hurricanes, who will be facing a ranked opponent for the 14th time this season, have been led by junior Alanna Broderick. The native of St. Andrew, Jamaica is 20-12 in singles competition this season and has won seven of her last nine matches. Broderick is an impressive 8-2 at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center this season.
Miami has also received strong play from its No. 1 doubles team of junior Katia Bogomolova (Moscow, Russia) and Marcy Hora (Delray Beach, FL). The two are a perfect 3-0 since joining forces two weeks ago.
