Miami Falls to VCU

CORAL GABLES, FL – The University of Miami women’s tennis team (5-6) fell to Virginia Commonwealth (8-3) by a score of 6-3.
Miami took three of the six singles matches, but was swept in the doubles matches. The Hurricanes received victories from junior Alanna Broderick, freshman Lauren Scaglione and sophomore Marcy Hora.
The UM women return to action on Tuesday, March 14 at 2 p.m., when they host North Carolina State at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center on the Coral Gables Campus.
