Men's Tennis Hosts Penn State

CORAL GABLES, FL – The 27th-ranked University of Miami men’s tennis team (9-0) will face Penn State (4-3, 0-2 BIG TEN) at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center on the Coral Gables Campus on Thursday, March 9 at 12:30 p.m.
The Hurricanes are currently 9-0 with recent wins over Louisiana-Monroe and Boston University. Against Louisiana-Monroe, the Hurricanes won five of six singles matches and swept the three doubles matches to claim the 6-1 victory. Miami received singles victories from Peter Hoffman, Johan Lindqvist, Michael Lang, Jose Lieberman, and Arpad Odry, while the doubles team of Tomas Smid/Hoffman, Lang/Lieberman, and Joel Berman/MarkArrowsmith claimed victories.
In the match, vs. BU, the Hurricanes swept all six singles matches, as well as the three doubles matches. Miami received singles victories from Lindqvist, Lang, Lieberman, Odry, Berman, and Arrowsmith, while the doubles teams of Hoffman/Smid, Lieberman/Lang, and Berman/Arrowsmith all won for the second time.
