Women's Tennis Falls to Clemson, 6-2

The University of Miami women’s tennis team (3-2)dropped a 6-3 decision at Clemson (3-1)late Friday evening. The contest was moved to Clemson’s indoor facility due to the weather.

Meredith Laughlin and Marcy Hora garnered singles victories. Laughlin defeated Cinny Clausen (6-3, 6-3) while Hora defated Anna Savitskaya of Clemson,(6-1, 1-6, 7-5)in the only three-set match of the singles competition.

The duo of Laughlin and Eva Jimenez earned UM’s sole doubles win over the team of Clausen/Brito (8-2).
