CORAL GABLES, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – The top-ranked Miami Hurricanes (6-0 overall, 3-0 in the BIG EAST) practiced for two hours in and shorts and pads in sporadic rain on Tuesday afternoon at the Greentree Practice Fields on the UM campus.

The Hurricanes continued to sharpen their game for Saturday’s contest with the Temple Owls (2-5, 1-3). Miami and Temple meet for the 11th time on Saturday with Miami holding a 9-1 edge in the series that dates back to 1930.

In injury news, defensive end Andrew Williams (knee sprain) and running back Willis McGahee (knee sprain) missed Tuesday’s practice while defensive end Cornelius Green (turf toe) and receiver Daryl Jones (ankle sprain) returned to full-speed work after missing practice last week.

The game will be televised by ESPN Regional Television and can be seen locally on WFOR-TV (Channel 4) in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area. For ticket information about Hurricanes football, contact the UM Ticket Office at 1-800-GO-CANES or purchase them on the web at www.hurricanesports.com.
