Miami is 2-2 versus ranked teams this season and won the only game itplayed on the road against a ranked opponent, downing 25th-ranked Maryland inCollege Park Jan. 10.

The Hurricanes are led by sophomore guard Jack McClinton’s 16.1 pointsper game. McClinton tops all ACC players in three-point field goal percentage(.438) and three-pointers made per game (2.65) and ranks second in the leaguein free throw percentage (.913).

Sophomore forward Brian Asbury ranks second on the team in scoring(12.2) and first in rebounding (5.8) while senior guard Anthony Harris is turningin 9.5 points per game – good for third on the UM roster.

Coming off a career-high 24-point outing against Virginia Tech Jan. 23, sophomoreguard Denis Clemente heads into Wednesday’s game averaging 19.5points over the last two games.

North Carolina sits as the best offensive scoring team in the ACC, averaging87.8 points per game.Three Tar Heel starters average double figures led by sophomore centerTyler Hansbrough’s 18.2 points per game. Hansbrough, last season’s ACC Rookieof the Year, ranks third in the league in rebounding (8.0).
