CORAL GABLES, Fla. The University of Miami soccer team is set for its last non-conference road outing of the season Sunday.

The Hurricanes will take on Quinnipiac in Hamden, Conn., at noon at Quinnipiac Soccer Turf Complex. It is the first time the two sides will face off.

Miami enters Sunday afternoon’s affair with a 3-2-0 record on the season. Fifth-year head coach Mary-Frances Monroe‘s side has outscored its opponents by a 10-3 margin and allowed just one non-penalty kick goal.

Senior forward Ronnie Johnson is tied for the ACC lead in goals (four), shots (28) and game-winning goals (two), while sophomore midfielder Kristina Fisher paces the conference in assists (five). Additionally, redshirt junior Phallon Tullis-Joyce is tied for first in shutouts (three).

Quinnipiac sports a 3-1-0 mark thus far in 2017. The Bobcats have won back-to-back outings and own a pair of overtime victories. Last season, Quinnipiac finished 12-7-1 (6-4-0 MAAC) and reached the conference tournament championship.

Following their match against Quinnipiac, the Hurricanes return to Coral Gables, where they will host the College of Charleston Friday at 7 p.m., at Cobb Stadium.
