?6 feet 4, 175 pounds, 22 years old, senior… Physical Education… Played for Martins Ferry, Ohio under Coach Elmer Freese… Has lettered twice… A key performer the past two season, Ron does everything well… He was an All Hurricane Classic and All-Florida Intercollegiate Conference forward last year… Godfrey broke the one-season record for free throws at UM with 159 and his 22 free throws against Oklahoma City is another mark… He starts this year ninth in the UM all-time career scoring tables… He’s ninth in field goals, fourth in free throws and sixth in rebounds… Ron is tied for second for the greatest number of 20-point-games. His highest point total (32) was against Murray State, and his most rebounds (22) came against Xavier… The latter is a Hurricane Classic one-game rebound record… His loss by an injury prior to the NCAA tournament last year, hurt the Hurricanes chances against Western Kentucky.
