AS A FRESHMAN (2004-05): Finished 20th in the mile run (5:37.51) at the Florida Intercollegiate (1/15/05) during the indoor season…competed in two meets during the outdoor season…placed 15th in the 1500-meters (5:05.23) at the Miami Gatorade Invitational (4/16/05)…placed 31st in the 1500-meters (5:06.89) at the Hurricane Invitational (3/19/05)…was among the Hurricanes’ top three finishers in all six races during the 2004 cross country season…recorded a season-best sixth-place finish at the UM-FIU-FMU Tri-Meet with a time of 20:27 over 5000-meters…recorded a season-best 5000-meter time of 19:05.66 in placing 33rd at the Walt Disney Classic…placed 64th at the ACC Cross Country Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in the 800m and cross country at Bethesda Chevy Chase…team captain of both track and cross country teams senior year…Montgomery Journal All-County Honorable mention in track senior year…placed fifth in the 3A State Meet in the 800m with a personal best time of 2:23…team was 2A State Champions junior year…placed fifth in the state meet in the 800m junior year…also competed on the cross country team…Montgomery Journal All-County Cross Country Second team selection senior year and honorable mention junior year…team was 2A State Champions her junior year…also competed on the basketball team where she received the sportsmanship award senior year…coached by Tim Gilmore.

PERSONAL: Plans to major in Marine Science…enjoys playing video games, the violin and writing songs in her spare time.
