Hurricanes Place 14 on All-ACC Academic Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Fourteen University of Miami track and field student-athletes were named to the 2026 All-ACC Academic Team, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Wednesday.

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team include a minimum 3.0 grade point average for the previous two semesters and a 3.0 cumulative GPA for the student-athlete’s academic career, along with being enrolled at the institution for at least one year and classified as an undergraduate student. In addition, student-athletes must compete in either the ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships or the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Representing the men’s team are Edgar Campre (finance), Carter Cukerstein (criminology), Robert Joseph (psychology), Denis Shishlo (mechanical engineering) and Ashton Torns (business technology).

On the women’s side, Alva Back (management), Sophie Haag (psychology), Sanaa Hebron (psychology), Dominique Johnson (software engineering), Nandy Kihuyu (communication broadcast journalism), Adriana Kruzmane (entrepreneurship), Janay Moorer (health science), Jocelyn Pringle (communication electronic media) and Utitofon Sam (psychology) represented Miami.
