Kruzmane Places Ninth in Triple Jump at NCAA Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Adriana Kruzmane led the way Saturday for the University of Miami track and field team as the Hurricanes closed out the NCAA Championships at Hayward Field.

The freshman placed ninth in the women’s triple jump with a distance of 13.34m to earn second team All-America honors. The Lecava, Latvia, native entered her third attempt in 15th place before catapulting into the top nine.

Calea Jackson and Magdaline Campo each earned honorable mention All-America honors as Jackson placed 22nd in the women’s discus with a throw of 51.84m and Campo finished 22nd in the women’s high jump after clearing 1.74m.
