Miami Women's Tennis Places Three on 2026 All-ACC Academic Team
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Three University of Miami women’s tennis student-athletes were named to the 2026 All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Representing the Hurricanes are senior Raquel Gonzalez, and sophomores Jaquelyn Ogunwale and Daria Volosova. The three Canes were recognized for their excellence both in the classroom and on the court during the 2025-26 academic year.
Gonzalez, a Global Health Studies major, earns All-ACC Academic Team recognition following another successful season competing for the Hurricanes. Ogunwale, a Psychology major, receives the honor after making an impact both academically and athletically during her sophomore campaign, while Volosova, an Economics major, also earns recognition for her achievements in the classroom and on the court for Miami.
The All-ACC Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in both academics and athletics. To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average for both the previous semester and cumulative academic career, be enrolled at their institution for at least one academic year and compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests.
