Miami Set for NCAA Championships
EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Miami track and field is set to compete at the NCAA Outdoor Championships Wednesday through Saturday at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon.
Action gets underway Wednesday at 4 p.m. as Edgar Campre competes in the decathlon prior to George Franks running in the 400m semifinals at 9:41 p.m.
On Thursday, Campre concludes the decathlon at 1:45 p.m. as Deisiane Teixeira competes in the javelin at 6:15 p.m. Sanaa Hebron kicks off the running events with the 400m hurdles at 10:14 p.m. before the 4×400 relay of Hebron, Serena Tate, Gabriella Grissom, Nandy Kihuyu and Iyonna Codd compete at 11:36 p.m.
Desmond Coleman opens Friday’s competition at 5:15 p.m. in the discus before the 400m finals at 9:02 p.m.
To close out the NCAA Championships on Saturday, Calea Jackson competes in the discus at 2:30 p.m. prior to Magdaline Campo battling in the high jump at 7:30 p.m. and Adriana Kruzmane competing in the triple jump at 8:10 p.m. On the track, the 400m hurdle final and 4×400 relay finals are slated for 9:27 p.m. and 10:21 p.m., respectively.
