Nine Canes Named to ACC All-Academic Indoor Track and Field Team

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Nine members of the University of Miami track and field team garnered 2026 ACC All-Academic Indoor Track and Field Team honors, the league office announced Friday.

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career.

In addition, student-athletes must have competed in either the ACC Championships and/or the NCAA Championships.

Representing the men’s team were ACC championships Edgar Campre, Ace Malone and Sean Watkins, along with Enrique Borrego, Desmond Coleman and Ashton Torns.

Three members of women’s team earned the distinction, including Sanaa Hebron, Paisley Hight and Maddie Scheier.
