Miami Returns to Gainesville for Tom Jones Memorial

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Miami track and field team returns to the Percy Beard Track on Friday and Saturday for the Tom Jones Memorial.

Action gets underway Friday at noon with the women’s 200m while field events get underway at 2 p.m. with the men’s high jump. The women’s discus begins at 9 a.m. Saturday while running events are slated for a 9:30 a.m. start with the women’s 100m hurdles.

Miami registered six event wins at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational and the women’s team remained at No. 23 in the weekly USTFCCCA rankings.

The Hurricanes enter the week with a trio ranked in the top 10 nationally as Adriana Kruzmane ranks second in the triple jump at 13.48m, Sanaa Hebron is fifth at 55.57 in the 400m hurdles and Magdaline Camp ranks ninth in the high jump at 1.83m.
