Q: Why did you choose Miami?
A: I chose the University of Miami because it offers outstanding resources for both high-performance athletics and academics. The climate and cultural diversity also create an ideal environment for personal and professional growth.
Q: How has your time at Miami been so far?
A: My experience has been extremely positive. I’ve been able to balance my master’s studies with track & field training in the team, which has allowed me to learn from top professionals and improve as an athlete.
Q: What has been your favorite part of being a Hurricane?
A: What I enjoy most is the team spirit and the support we receive from coaches and teammates. Being part of such a united family is truly motivating.
Q: What has been the biggest adjustment for you since you arrived?
A: The biggest adjustment has been adapting to a different academic system and a new culture. It was challenging at first, but now I see it as a great opportunity to grow and learn.
My favorite part of being a Hurricane student-athlete is: The opportunity to compete at the highest level while continuing my academic development.
If I had to describe the team in one word it would be: Commitment
Coral Gables is different from my hometown because: The weather is much warmer, and university life is more international and dynamic.
The biggest adjustment from previous school to college has been: The increased academic and athletic demands, as well as the professionalization of training.
