A Davie, Fla., native, graduate student Kelsey Marshall stayed in South Florida to make an impact at her hometown school. And that is exactly what she did. Marshall left a lasting legacy at The U, not only for her athletic prowess on the court, but also for the laughter and leadership she brought to the program each and every day. A five-year player, the guard cemented her place in the record books during her fifth season, setting new personal and program records.

THE BEST 3-POINT SHOOTER EVER

“My best memory as a Miami Hurricane was when I broke the 3-point record because it allowed me to leave my mark here at Miami. Everyone was giving me hugs and congratulating me on the major milestone and it just meant so much to me.”

"Kelsey is a heck of a competitor, but she is also so light and bright."

Head Coach Katie Meier

“Kelsey Marshall is the epitome of what you want a Miami student-athlete to be. She has been nothing but joy and has had a positive impact her entire career. This year has been my absolute favorite year with Kelsey. She is doing the gritty stuff and she is doing things that leaders do behind the scenes to make sure her team wins and she is highly invested. My favorite part about Kelsey is just how silly and bright and fun she is. She is a heck of a competitor, but she is so light and bright that it really gets you through season. I have been blessed to have five wonderful seasons with Kelsey.”
