In its last outing, Miami dropped a 62-57 result at Pittsburgh Sunday afternoon. The Hurricanes played without junior guard Chris Lykes for the third consecutive game and redshirt junior guard Kameron McGusty for the second time in the past three affairs.

Redshirt junior center Rodney Miller, Jr., paced the Hurricanes with a career-high-tying 16 points, while freshmen guards Isaiah Wong and Harlond Beverly added 15 and 11 points, respectively. Senior guard Dejan Vasiljevic logged 10 points and a team-best nine boards in the setback.

NC State is 14-8 (5-6 ACC) on the season after dropping three straight games following a three-game winning streak. Redshirt senior guard CJ Bryce, who returned from injury the last time these sides faced off, is the Wolfpack’s leading scorer at 13.2 points per game.

The Wolfpack posted a 24-12 (9-9) record and reached the NIT quarterfinals in 2018-19 and then took sixth place in the ACC preseason poll before this year’s campaign.
