Miami Men’s Tennis Secures Top 5 Recruiting Class
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The 2018 University of Miami men’s tennis recruiting class has earned a No. 5 ranking in a recent poll by TennisRecruiting.net.
The class, which includes incoming recruits Franco Aubone, Francisco Bastias and Kaya Gore is the top rated class among ACC schools and is one of only two league schools to earn a top 10 ranking.
“It’s exciting for our incoming class to be recognized as one of the top recruiting classes in the country,” Head coach Aljosa Piric said. “We are extremely excited to welcome Francisco, Franco, and Kaya into our Miami Hurricane family.”
Miami’s recruiting class has been ranked in the top 15 in each of the past two seasons under Piric. The 2018 recruiting class also marks Miami’s first top-10 recruiting class since 2010.
“They are all great guys that love tennis and love to compete,” Piric said. “They have high aspirations for themselves and Miami tennis. In addition to our returners, they will help continue to advance our program forward in the years to come.”
