Miami Sells Out Watsco Center for Third Straight Year

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s basketball program has sold out its home arena for the third consecutive season, the school announced Monday.
 
“We’re sold out again for every game this season for the third straight year,” said Coach Jim Larrañaga. “Thank you to the fans for your support of Miami Hurricanes men’s basketball.”
 
For three straight years, fans have bought over 5,500 season tickets, more than doubling the total number of season tickets sold in Larrañaga’s first season in Coral Gables. When Larrañaga began his tenure in Miami, fans bought 2,251 season tickets for the 2011-12 campaign.

Fans wishing to attend Miami basketball games this season are encouraged to use StubHub, the official secondary ticket market for Miami Athletics, to purchase single-game tickets.

Currently one of four remaining unbeaten teams in the nation, the No. 6/8 Canes (9-0) play in the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu this week, beginning Friday. The Hurricanes open against Hawaii at 8 p.m. HT (1 a.m. ET); ESPNU has the telecast.
