Miami Announces 2017 Football Schedule

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami released its 2017 football schedule on Tuesday. The Hurricanes’ slate is highlighted by seven home games at Hard Rock Stadium.

Miami’s home schedule includes non-conference games against Bethune-Cookman (Sept. 2), Toledo (Sept. 23) and Notre Dame (Nov. 11). The Hurricanes will play host to ACC rivals Georgia Tech (Oct. 12, Thursday), Syracuse (Oct. 21), Virginia Tech (Nov. 4) and Virginia (Nov. 18).

The Hurricanes’ five road games in 2017 include trips to Arkansas State (Sept. 9), Florida State (Sept. 16), Duke (Sept. 29, Friday), North Carolina (Oct. 28) and Pittsburgh (Nov. 24, Friday) to close out the regular season.

Miami enters the 2017 campaign following a strong 2016 season where the Hurricanes posted a 9-4 record and closed out the year with five straight wins for the first time since 2001. Among the five straight wins to close out the year was a 31-14 victory in the Russell Athletic Bowl over West Virginia.
