Reed, Murphy & L Represent UM at Operation BBall

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Head Coach Jim Larrañaga and seniors Davon Reed and Kamari Murphy will represent the University of Miami at the 55th Annual Atlantic Coast Conference Operation Basketball Wednesday in Charlotte, N.C.

Reed, from Ewing, N.J., is the team’s top returning scorer, averaging 11.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.8 steals in 28.8 minutes per game a season ago. Murphy, from Brooklyn, N.Y., averaged 6.0 rebounds per game as a junior, added to his 5.6 points and 0.9 blocks in 24.9 minutes per outing. Coach L enters his 33rd season overall and sixth at Miami with a 588-391 career mark, and a 118-57 record at UM. He is ranked No. 11 on the list of winningest active coaches at major schools, with 560 victories.
