Davon Reed’s Career Game vs. Northeastern
Junior Davon Reed filled up his stat line against Northeastern on Nov. 27, posting 19 points, seven rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block. He was 7-10 from the field, 2-5 from three and 3-3 at the line. His 19 points tied his career high, as did his seven field goals made.

Larrañaga Closing in on 100 Wins at Miami
In just his fifth year at UM, Jim Larrañaga is closing in one 100 wins at The U. He is currently 96-50. Bruce Hale was the Miami coach who won 100 games the quickest, earning 100 victories in just 159 games. Hart Morris took 163 games, Frank Haith 174 and Leonard Hamilton took 230 games.

Miami’s bench is averaging 28.3 points per game. Against Mississippi State, the reserves tallied 50 points, followed by 31 against No. 22/20 Butler and 27 vs. UTRGV. Miami’s bench low was 17 against Northeastern. Canes’ opponents are averaging 21.0 bench points per game.
