CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Miami men’s basketball coach Jim Larrañaga spoke with local media prior to the Canes’ game against Alabama.

Second-seeded Miami hosts No. 6 seed Alabama in the second round of the National Invitation Tournament on March 21 at 11 a.m. in the BankUnited Center.

Miami is 0-2 against Alabama, falling to the Crimson Tide in December of 1968 and in the 2011 NIT.
