Canes Check in at No. 18 & No. 19 in Polls
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s basketball team continues its four-week reign in the Top 25 after the AP ranked the Canes No. 18 and USA TODAY put UM at No. 19, on Dec. 15.
Miami was No. 20/21 in the polls last week and No. 15 – the highest ranking in December in the history of Canes basketball – in both polls the previous week.

Miami made its season debut in the Top 20 of both major college basketball polls Nov. 24. Miami checked in at No. 17 in the Associated Press Top 25, and earned a No. 20 ranking in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll.
Prior to this season, the Hurricanes were last ranked in the final polls of the 2012-13 season, holding the No. 5 spot in the final AP poll and No. 10 in USA Today Coaches Poll.
