Larra'aga Accepts ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – While in Madrid, Spain, on a foreign basketball tour, University of Miami men’s basketball coach Jim Larrañaga accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge from University of Virginia AD Craig Littlepage, “who used to be my friend,” Larrañaga joked before a bucket of water was dumped over his head by Hurricanes Tonye Jekiri and Joe Thomas.

Larrañaga now challenges three of his former assistants to help support ALS research: UMass head coach Derek Kellogg, High Point University head coach Scott Cherry and ESPN’s Reggie Rankin.
