Operation Sellout 2.0 Complete

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Less than 12 hours after Miami’s 27-point win over No. 1 Duke, Operation Sellout 2.0 was successful as the Hurricanes’ matchup Sunday against in-state rival Florida State is sold out.

Sunday will be just the third time that the BankUnited Center will have a capacity crowd of 7,972 under its current configuration. The first two occasions came against Duke (Feb. 13, 2011 and Jan. 23, 2013).

Miami, who is 14-3 overall and 5-0 in the ACC, is 8-0 at home this season and is undefeated in 2013. Sunday’s game will tip at 6 p.m. and be televised on ESPNU.

Fans with a purchased ticket are encouraged to arrive to the BankUnited Center early on Sunday evening. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and as usual, traffic is expected to be heavy for those utilizing US-1 to access the arena.

Students can begin lining up at noon on Sunday in hopes of being one of 1,300 students with complimentary admission to the game. Students attending the women’s basketball game vs. North Carolina will receive priority seating. Students are advised to stay tuned to more information via email.

All of the student ticketing information is available on the Men’s Basketball home page. UM expects to have more than 1,300 students in the building for just the eighth time in BankUnited Center history.

Prior to the 2006-07 season, the capacity in the BankUnited Center was 7,000 and UM reached the sellout mark on eight occasions under that configuration.
