Capital Campaign
The 21st century brings tremendous opportunity for our athletic program, but with that opportunity comes costs. While scholarship funding continues to be our primary need, several major projects are underway or recently completed and each project requires significant funding.
The UExcellence Campaign is aimed at raising money to fund Endowment Scholarships and Athletic Facility Projects. In order for the University to compete in all 17 sports nationally at the N.C.A.A. Division I, we must raise over $63 million over the next five years, which will go toward the funding of Athletic Endowment Scholarships; the Hurricane Club Annual Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund; and Athletic Facility Projects.

As tuition and construction costs continue to escalate in the 21st century, increased private support will be critical to the success of UM Athletics. With the help of our friends, alumni and the entire community, the University of Miami Athletic Department can reach exciting new levels of achievement in the 21st century.
