CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Universityof Miami women’s basketball team(10-8, 5-5 BIG EAST) return home to face Georgetown (10-8, 4-6 BIGEAST) onTuesday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. at the Knight Sports Complex on the UM campus.The game will be televised on tape delay by SportsChannel Florida.

Miami enters the game havinglost two of three on the road. TheHurricanes defeated then-No. 21 Boston College, 66-53, before fallingto No.2 Connecticut, 89-55, and 1998 NIT qualifier Villanova, 56-54.

Georgetown travels to CoralGables on a modest one-game win streak,defeating Seton Hall, 78-73, at home. Additionally, the Hoyasstretched No.13 Rutgers to double-overtime before falling, 67-64, on Jan. 20.

The Hurricanes lead theall-time series with Georgetown, including a4-2 mark at the Knight Sports Complex. UM is led by its post-playersKymHope (16.0 ppg, 8.7 rpg), Jennifer Jordan (15.1 ppg, 7.3 rpg) and CassaundraWimes (11.4 ppg, 3.8 rpg).
