Miami Women’s Basketball Slated to Face Florida Gators in 2026 SEC/ACC Challenge
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Miami women’s basketball is set to travel to Gainesville and face the Florida Gators on Wednesday, Dec. 2 in the fourth edition of the SEC/ACC Challenge.
The official tip-off time and network designation for the matchup will be announced on a later date.
Miami owns a record of 1-2 in the three previous SEC/ACC Challenges, as they defeated Mississippi State in 2023, before falling to Vanderbilt in 2024, and Kentucky in 2025.
The Hurricanes will face the Florida Gators for the first time since Nov. 16, 2024, where Miami defeated UF 83-73 on the road. In the four most recent matchups between the cross-state rivals, Miami has held a 3-1 edge spanning from 2003-2024.
Miami enters its third season under Head Coach Tricia Cullop, and the Canes have added significant talent ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. Miami is set to bring in three freshmen, three transfer players, and retained five core returners, Ahnay Adams, Gal Raviv, Amarachi Kimspon, Natalie Wetzel, and Soma Okolo.
The remainder of the 2026-27 schedule will also be released at a later date.
