CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Universityof Miami football team continuedspring practice with a two hour workout in full pads Thursday afternoonatthe Greentree Practice Facility on the UM campus.
Following pre-practice warm-ups,the team split into offensive anddefensive units to work on various drills for the first hour finishingupwith an 11-on-11 scrimmage. The middle of practice consistedof full speedkicking drills before the Hurricanes’ closed out practice with theoffenseand defense scrimmaging in short yardage situations.
“Many of our younger playersdid some really nice things today,”said head coach Butch Davis. “William Joseph (DL) and Howard Clark(LB) bothstood out defensively. Offensively some of our younger lineman haveplayedwell. Martin Bibla is really starting play well and Brett Rombergis havinga good spring.”
