CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Miami Touchdown Club and the Universityof Miami Hurricane Club will honor the 1998 University of Miami Hurricanefootball team with its annual Awards Banquet on Tuesday, February 2, 1999,at the Radisson Centre.

UM head coach Butch Davis and his staff as well as the 1998 Hurricanefootball team will be present. The banquet will recognize the team’sgraduating seniors and outstanding players. Special presentationsinclude: the Jack Harding Memorial Award to the most valuable player,Marriutto Family Scholar-Athlete Award, Christopher Plumer Memorial AthleticScholarship Cup for leadership and motivation, UM Sports Hall of Fame UnsungHero Award, and Dale Melching Award.
