CORAL GABLES, FL – Sebastian the Ibis, the University of Miami’s officialmascot, will make a special appearance from noon – 2:00 pm on Friday, August21 in the open courtyard of the First Union National Bank of Florida (200South Biscayne Boulevard.) in downtown Miami.
In addition to the appearance by Sebastian the Ibis, there will beinteractive games, prizes, and autographs. The University ofMiami cheerleaders will also be on hand.

The Ibis, one of the most recognizable college mascots in the UnitedStates, represents the last sign of wildlife to take shelter before a Hurricaneand the first to reappear following the storm.
