CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The 24th-rankedUniversity of Miami Hurricanesconducted a 90-minute practice today at Greentree Practice Field ontheUM campus in preparation for their matchup with North Carolina Stateinthe Micron PC Bowl on December 29th at 7:30 p.m. at Pro Player Stadium.
Head Coach Butch Davis declareda need to get into a regularpre-game routine following eight days of practice and a multitude ofactivities surrounding the Micron PC Bowl.
“We are at sort of a crossroadsin that we’ve been practicingfor about eight days,” said Davis. ‘I think that physically weare alittle bit fatigued from not only practice but from all the activities.Starting tonight, we are going to emphasize getting back into a normalroutine.”
Following the workout, theHurricanes returned to the EmbassySuites, Ft. Lauderdale, UM’s headquarters for the week leading up totheMicron PC Bowl. Practice resumes Sunday at 10:45 a.m. at theGreentreePractice Field.
Game tickets for the MicronPC Bowl are available through the UMticket office. Tickets can be purchased in person or by calling1-800-GO-CANES. Fans are encouraged to support the Hurricanesandpurchase tickets out of the school’s allotment by going through theUMticket office.
